FAFSA
The following applications must be complete for Financial Aid in California. FAFSA - this form/application is used by the Federal government to screen federal financial aid money, such as PELL GRANTS, work study and student loans.

CAL GRANT
The is the State of California's Financial Aid application to recieve state aid money. The CAL Grant GPA Submission is completed automatically by Denair High. Denair High participates in the electronic upload of GPA's to the State of California. In order to recieve a CAL Grant, the student must complete the FAFSA (Federal form).

California Dream Act
The California Dream Act is a comboination of threee bills, Assembly Bill (AB) 540, AB 130 and AB 131. Together, these bills allow undocumented and nonresident documented students who meet certainprovisions to be treated the same as resident students. Together these are called the California Dream Act and they allow these students to pay the resident fees at public colleges and universities, apply for and receive private scholarships funded through public universities, state-administered financial aid, university grants, community college fee waivers and Cal Grants.

California Chafee Grant Program - a federal education voucher program that gives up to $5,000 annually to former foster youth between the ages of 16 and 21. The Chafee Grant provides free grant dollars to be used for college or job training.
